Overview
Star-Traxx Tracking System was built to track assets and autos, with coverage that's nearly worldwide, we can provide one of the most robust and low cost AVL systems in development today.
For $9.95 a month you and your family will be able to log onto our 128-bit secure website
and view your travels, Poll your vehicles, set up accounts, build and post web based trip
reports, map, upload trip images into our Trip Builder, create post trip routing, turn data into
information for MS Excel using the download CSV file, load the CSV file into any 3rd party mapping
program that supports CSV and do reporting.
Star-Traxx™ can be moved to any vehicle of your choice at no additional cost.
Star-Traxx™ is very simple to install its an 6.3 inch round hardware tracking
device that plugs into your auto's 12volt power supply or cigarette lighter and
simply starts reporting based upon the script file that is loaded. Star-Traxx™
is the ultimate solution for personal tracking, asset tracking, security and
fleet management applications.
The integrated Star-Traxx transceiver, GPS receiver and omni-directional
antenna are all enclosed in an environmentally sealed package that is weather proof.
The mounting hardware will vary and it all depends on what type of vehicle you're
putting this device on. The standard mount application for a car would be our basic
soft bottom magnetic mount that will stand up to high winds and rough environments such as off road use.
Star-Traxx™ built-in scripting language allows the unit to operate autonomously without
any external components, and you can build your scripts on-line and upload from your home PC
or laptop. You can also use the RS-232 data port and a laptop to configure the Tracking unit
as well. Optional cables are available that have a push-button and LED that can be placed
such that you have additional control over the unit. Using one of our supporting scripts
the unit can be programmed such that the push-button can activate a report and the LED
indicates when reports are being sent. Reports can be configured to cause different actions
to take place. You may have reports sent via e-mail or even tied to a 24/7 call dispatch
center who can alert 911.
